Murray has over 25 years of professional experience spanning retail design and strategy, commercial design and 3D architectural visualisation and BIM consulting and simulation. In 2014 he founded Snobal an award-winning emerging technology company building artificial intelligence assisted virtual reality and augmented reality (XR) solutions for the built environment. The company’s solutions are changing how places are designed, communicated and understood. In 2017, the company was invited onto the HTC ViveX Global Accelerator and the IBM Global Entrepreneurs programs. It was also profiled as one of the leading Australian technology companies transforming the construction sector in a 2017 industry report produced by StartupAus in collaboration with Aconex, Lendlease, EY and the Victorian Government. Prior to founding Snobal, Murray has worked in a range of corporate roles related to human behavior in built environments including Communications and Design Manager for IKEA Australia, Senior Wayfinding Strategist at ID Lab and Projects design manager at Geyer.
