His experience covers 38 years in Senior management, Technical roles and Consultancy in the Radio and Telecommunications industry as a subject matter expert (SME) in Electromagnetic Energy (EME) in wireless technologies in various specialist technical roles. Brendon is currently working with Aurecon as an Associate (SME) in wireless technologies, Managing their EME team in Advisory and Telecommunications.
He is currently a member of Standards Australia and an active committee member (TC106) and represent Australia on the international stage developing the IEC 62232 and IEC62209 standards for human RF exposure measurements (base stations and devices) and member of the “5G” Technical work group. Previously worked with the ITU Focus group for “Smart Sustainable Cites – Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) considerations in smart sustainable cities” (published 2014) which looked at how we plan and integrate communications into developments, and is part of an international expert group.
